Split Run – Applied Arts Magazine
I’m happy to share that I’m on the cover and profiled in the March/April issue of Applied Arts Magazine. Applied Arts has started to run a new section called “Split Run” that profiles image makers that work in both Photography and Motion Pictures. The profile features a printed (see images below), and online component. The cover image below is a fan of The Saskatchewan Roughriders photographed at the 98th Grey Cup for The CFL.

Portraits – Pond Hockey
My cousin holds an annual pond hockey game at his family’s cottage every winter. This year I got a chance to take a few pics in between playing. I brought up a battery pack strobe unit with the intention of shooting in a similar style to the portraits I shot during last Summer’s Caribana Festival. I didn’t anticipate just how quickly the cold would zap the battery pack strobe unit, so I didn’t get to shoot with it long. I had just long enough to make an image I’m happy with. Below is a portrait of my oldest brother.
