The 360 Project

I’m happy to release a project a long time in the making – The 360 Project. Using 48 cameras aligned in a circle and triggered simultaneously, I photographed dancers in 360 degrees. The 360 Project is comprised of 2 short films, “Ballet 360″ and “Krump 360″. This undertaking would not have been possible without the support of a Chalmers Arts Fellowship, and Canada’s National Ballet School – huge thank you to them. The ballet dancers are from Canada’s National Ballet School and the krump dancers are from Northbuck. The sound design for the 2 short films was created by Zelig Sound. “Krump 360″ and “Ballet 360″ are posted below, as well as a behind the scenes video on the technical and creative process, and my favourite photo from set shot by Melissa Tait.
